All our music therapists have a master's level qualification in Music Therapy, are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have Level 3 Safeguarding training. Each team member can work with people of any age, and some have additional training and areas of specialism which are named below.

Founder / Director
Tina founded Belltree in 2009 in response to the lack of music therapy provision in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. She has extensive clinical experience working in health, education and community settings since 2000 with people of all ages and abilities.
Director / Service Manager
Lindsay is delighted to have joined Belltree as Director & Service Manager where she can bring her experience and energy to support the wonderful work being delivered by the Music Therapy team.
Deputy Manager / Marketing Executive
Chloe deputises on clinical consultancy for the service and on Belltree’s social media and marketing initiatives. She has a special interest in individual rights and ethics, including training and research around consent, mental capacity act and best interest decisions.
Marketing Director
Fiona is responsible for shaping and implementing our strategic marketing vision, to reach as many people who could benefit from our service as possible, ensuring that our clients remain at the heart of everything we do.
Kerry is a Chartered Accountant with over 28 years’ experience in commercial finance positions and accountancy practice roles.
Caroline has over 35 years’ experience in the NHS in nursing and midwifery and is currently Maternity Intelligence and Assurance Lead at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Jon is an established classical performer and Steinway artist, who set up the Jon Byrne Piano School in 2019, in Hove. Music has been of central importance to Jon since he was a teenager, and he has long recognised how it can play a vital role in supporting mental health, emotional resilience and a strong sense of identity. As well as being a classical artist, Jon has a history as a DJ of electronic dance music, playing to crowds of up to 10,000 across Europe.

Becky Jenner, BA Hons Business Studies. She is the Parent and Carer’s Council (PaCC) Voluntary Sector Champion, Brighton and Hove 2013 and was a finalist in the NatWest Inspirational Woman Award 2013.
